Welcome to my web site. My passion for jazz and the saxophone allows me to spend my life doing what I love best — making music. I get to share that with you when you listen, so please keep in touch and come to gigs when you can.
Doug Webb (Saxophone) received a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music. He is featured on over 500 recordings for hundreds of artists including Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Sal Marquez, Stanley Clarke, Brian Bromberg, Quincy Jones, Mat Marucci, Bobby Caldwell, Kyle Eastwood, Rod Stewart, Carly Simon, Art Garfunkel, Queen Latifah and Cher. He played for fifteen years with the Doc Severinsen Tonight Show Big Band. He has recorded music for hundreds of movies and television programs, including playing for the Family Guy orchestra, the saxophone of Lisa on The Simpsons and soprano saxophone for the Law and Order theme song. He solos on the sound track for Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino. His new album featuring Stanley Clarke and Larry Goldings, "Midnight," was released on Posi-Tone Records on August 17th.
